GIS-Pros Scott Taschner awarded professional GISP certification

Rancho Mirage, CA (June 16, 2015). Scott Taschner, Principal and GIS Specialist at GIS-Pros has been awarded professional GISP certification by the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI). Taschner has been with GIS-Pros for five years serving as Principal and GIS Specialist. In 2014, Taschner earned his Master of Science in Geographic Information Science from California State University, Long Beach. The recent GISP certification, further strengthens Taschner’s role in the GIS profession.

A professionally certified GISP is one who has achieved the highest standards in educational achievement, professional experience, and contributions to the professional GIS community, as well as meeting or exceeding standards of ethical conduct and professional practice as established by the International GIS Certification Institute (GISCI).
